Vintage Computers
I started collecting vintage machines somewhere around 1988. It was just after I married and started settling down. There was no actual beginning to this collection, it basically just evolved, as I already kept the Altair 680b since I built it as a kit in 1976. An old colleague of mine was making room in his house during the early 80's and said I could take the machines off his hands - otherwise they would probably wind up in the trash. Every so often I put on an exhibit here in the Pittsburgh area and also at VCF East.
