Systems 8200 - not released
- This is a 16 bit front end
processor for the Systems 86 machine
- The project hardware
was completed however the software was never finished.
- This project
was cancelled in favor of the 7200 machine acquired from Multidata.
- After the
cancellation, George Dragner wrote an emulator in three days which
allowed the 7200 code to be run on the 8200. The effective
speed of the 7200 emulator matched the performance of the actual Multidata 7200 machine.
